Mathematics day
We want to bring together the different mathematical groups visiting Frias in 2017/18. Short talks are intended to explain to everyone what we are doing.

Preliminary Schedule:
- 10:30 – 11:00 talk Annette Huber: Cohomology in topology, algebraic geometry and number theory
- 11:00 – 11:30 coffee break
- 11:30 – 12:00 talk Thorsten Schmidt: Risk, uncertainty and estimation in Finance
- 12:00 – 14:00 lunch break
- 14:00 – 14:30 talk Ernst Eberlein: Multiple curve interest rate modelling including negative rates
- 14:45 – 15:15 talk Oliver Bräunling: Class field theory
- 15:15 coffee break
Talks will be aimed at a general mathematical audience. Non-mathematicians are very welcome if they either have had some exposure to mathematics beyond high school or are willing to make a sociological experiment.
